About Citizens Against Homicide

Citizens Against Homicide is a non-profit (501(c)3 – Tax ID #68-0330408), public benefits organization serving families and friends of homicide victims. The majority of our Board Members have lost a family member to murder. We are surviving the devastating loss of a loved one and continue to suffer the emotional trauma of coping with the criminal justice system. We have joined together to create a body of support and a voice for families and friends of homicide victims.

Citizens Against Homicide also partners with retired Marin County homicide detective Steve Nash of Nash & Associates Investigations to help bring renewed attention to unsolved homicide cases. Steve works with experienced detectives and investigators from across the country to review cold cases, examine evidence, and identify new investigative opportunities. When DNA testing or other forensic processing may help advance a case, Citizens Against Homicide helps fund these efforts through donations, giving families and law enforcement access to resources that may help move a case forward.
